This commitment was emphasized further with the addition of a new training position aimed at helping the plumbers, HVAC techs and electricians maintain excellence in their education, knowledge and training in their respective fields.
They are pleased to announce the addition of John Ferraro, Manager of Technical Training and Safety. In John’s new role he will focus on training the team in ALL Divisions -- HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing. He will develop Technical Training Systems to execute a fast, proactive learning environment. He will focus on keeping their team safe by reinforcing safety protocols in the field. Last but not least, John will develop a program that will take new trainees and develop them into FULL time service techs. This is especially important to Cool Today as they look to employ and nurture many of the young and talented men and women enrolled in our local trade and technical institutes. Jaime DiDomenico, owner shares, “John will be a valuable part of our management team. We will not only be investing technical training into our existing staff, but growing NEW technicians brought in from other industries and backgrounds, giving us a clear advantage over our peers in the home services business. John will also work with the community to assist in the progress and development of public school tech training programs, and non-profits such as the Sarasota Boys and Girls club's career resource center, where the trades are introduced to under privileged teens."
